Duplicate Commander 3.0

Duplicate Commander is a program that will let you find files that are duplicated in your hard disk.
Sometimes, you store files in you disk several times, while creating copies of your work or backups. Sometimes you download a file more than once. Those files are redundant, and they are wasting your hard disk space. By identifying and deleting the unneeded files, you will regain the space they occupy.

Duplicate Commander can compare the files saved into the folders that you specify, both by their filename (including extension, size, date of modification) or checking its contents (this is a much slower process). You can tell the program to move the checked files to another folder, if you want. Once the scan process is completed, the program will show you the list of duplicates found, and you can decide what to do with them.

The "Advanced Junk Finder" is an additional feature offered by this program. It is able to look for unneeded folders into the system´s folders, such as Program Files, Application Data, Temp, etc. You will then be able to delete them to recover disk space.
